Leonard Lodish
Leonard M. Lodish is the Samuel R. Harrell Professor in the Marketing Department of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Vice Dean for Wharton West, Wharton's San Francisco campus, and Leader of the Wharton Global Consulting Practicum (GCP) that has subsidiary partnerships with leading business schools in Israel, Chile, Peru, China, India, and Spain.
In 1996 Professor Lodish and his wife Susan pedaled their tandem bicycle across the U.S., and since then have done long-distance bicycle rides each year which have raised over $750,000 for the A.L.S. Association. The author of several marketing textbooks, Professor Lodish has published over 50 articles and is active as an editor in leading Marketing and Management Science Journals.
Professor Lodish's primary research and consulting areas are in entrepreneurial marketing, strategic and tactical marketing resource planning, marketing decision support systems, and applications in firm/marketing strategy, sales force, advertising, and promotion planning.
He is a Corporate Director of public companies: J&J Snack Foods, Inc., and Franklin Electronic Publishers, Inc. He also is a director or advisory board member of private companies: Information Resources, DVtel, Diapers.com, First Flavor, and Compete, Inc., as well as an advisor to the Jerusalem Global Venture Funds.
Professor Lodish received a Ph.D.. (Marketing and Operations Research) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and an A.B. (Mathematics) from Kenyon College.
Alice Levy
Alice Levy is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Mayes College, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She also holds an adjunct faculty position at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Levy is an accomplished marketing professional with experience spanning consumer products, health care and financial services. She has held marketing positions with Campbell Soup Company, Kraft, CIGNA and IMS Health. Her areas of expertise are marketing strategy and new product development.
Ms. Levy received her B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth Winter Wolpaw
Elizabeth Winter Wolpaw is Professor Emerita of Chemistry at Siena College where she served on the faculty from 1984 to 2002 as Professor of Chemistry and Chair of the Department of Chemistry. Since 2002, she has worked with Dr. Jonathan R. Wolpaw and his colleagues in the Laboratory of Nervous System Disorders at the New York State Department of Health's Wadsworth Center in Albany.
In her work with the Wadsworth Group, she has co-authored peer-reviewed review articles on brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, has helped organize several international BCI research meetings, has written grant proposals for funding BCI research and development, has prepared written and visual material for general media publications about BCI research, and is currently co-editing the first comprehensive BCI text for Oxford University Press.
Dr. Wolpaw received her A.B. degree from Smith College and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland.
Jeffrey D. Zudeck
Jeffrey D. Zudeck is the managing partner of the New Jersey office of Friedman LLP and is a member of the firm's management committee. In addition to his management responsibilities, Mr. Zudeck works with a broad spectrum of private and publicly held companies in the wholesale and distribution, financial services, professional services, telecommunications and technology industries. His expertise includes: planning and analyzing strategies for closely-held businesses to help ensure financial viability, performing due diligence audits and negotiating and structuring merger and acquisition transactions. In addition, Mr. Zudeck has expertise in the area of SEC reporting. He provides consulting, accounting, and auditing services to a number of publicly held companies.
Mr. Zudeck is active in community affairs and has served as a Board member of the Livingston Community Partnership Corporation and Project Acorn.
Mr. Zudeck received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey. He also holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, as well as life, health, and annuities licenses and mortgage solicitation certification.
Alan Markowitz
A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Markowitz served as CEO of Brokers Mortgage Services which was eventually sold to Travelers Insurance Company. In 1991, he purchased the assets of Shadow Traffic and expanded its operation from 2 to 19 markets before selling the company to Westwood One.
He is a graduate of the University of Houston.
